Glen Walk to Loch Lorsa

This glen walk is a pleasant, gentle walk which is accessible for most visitors

This tour is 2.7 miles long, please allow at least 50 minutes to complete it, excluding the time taken to enjoy the destinations along the way.

It takes in the scenic Glen Iorsa, travelling mostly along earthen footpaths and well-established tracks – at one point there is a very shallow ford to negotiate, but this is manageable with solid footwear and a careful eye! The route concludes with a descent to the boathouse beside Loch Iorsa itself. Spend a bit of time here soaking in the glorious tranquillity of the loch before retracing your steps to the starting point of this route.
